Puresa Organics
Puresa Organics is an Environmental + Humanitarian company Dedicated to Creating Global Awareness on Human Trafficking, and Empowering Women World Wide through the Making and Sales of its Organic Bags. The Bags and Products are Hand-Made by Women, Rescued Victims of Human Trafficking.
Each Purchase Directly Creates Employment, Self-Sustainability, and Hope. The more Bags we can sell, the more Rescued Women we can Employ, and the more Women's Lives we can Help to Change Forever! Made with Love in Nepal!
Top-model, Giselle Meza saw the need for change and social justice while traveling around the world for photo shoots. Seeing women enslaved into sexual exploitation, Giselle decided to help the victims of Nepal, where more than 15,000 girls and women are trafficked every year. Giving these women a sustainable income for making organic bags, Puresa Organics removes our sisters from enslavement while providing a durable and environmentally friendly tote.
Puresa Organics is a proud member of the Fair Trade Federation and is the official bag selection for Fair Trade the White House. As pointed out by Giselle in Coco Eco's article, “We are inviting the First Lady to make the White House a ‘Fair Trade Home.’ If Mrs. Obama chooses to use her home as an example of socially-conscious purchasing, we hope to give her our bag filled with fair trade goodies.”
